The DBU Prospect Showcase is an opportunity for prospective student-athletes to showcase their abilities while also developing as a player. The camp will feature instruction and evaluation from the DBU coaching staff. Previous DBU Prospect Showcases have been vital to our recruiting process. Several current and former players were participants in this showcase.
Location: Horner Ballpark
Camp includes:
Position Players:
- Pro-style work out and evaluation in front of DBU coaching Staff
- Defensive skill instruction with DBU coaching staff
- Hitting skill and philosophy instruction with DBU coaching staff
- DBU Baseball program and recruiting information session
- Scrimmage
Pitchers:
- Skill instruction with DBU coaching staff
- Movement and delivery drills with DBU coaching staff
- DBU Baseball program and recruiting information session
- Live outing in a scrimmage.
Coaches: The showcase will be run by the DBU coaching staff along with current DBU players.
What to Bring: Each participant must bring their own glove, bat, hat, helmet, tennis shoes/turfs/cleats, batting gloves, and baseball pants. Pitchers must bring their own gear. Whatever the player will need to be able to play in a live game.
Meals: Lunch will be provided for each participant and is included in the price of the showcase. Please let us know if the participant has any allergy issues and we can provide an alternative option.
Open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
